Scott ERide AF Trainer 1st Impressions
This isn’t just a light-weight performance trainer. It’s a neutral, high-mileage, light weight, training shoe that feels like a light weight performance trainer but has the cushion of a high end cushion shoe. Mizuno Wave Inspire 9 1st Impressions
With the most comfortable, form fitting upper from Mizuno yet, the Inspire 9 really stepped it up a notch as far as fit and feel. And it lost a bit of weight to boot. Great news for a, “traditionally dropped,” high-mileage, stability trainer. Bookmark on Delicious Digg this post Recommend on Facebook share [...]

I bought a pair of Kinvara 2s from the Runner’s Flat to do CrossFit in and they’ve held up great. Lifting hasn’t really had much effect on them and they even survive rope climbing well (many shoes separate from the sole after enough climbs). They’re super light and I think they’re nice to run in on pretty much any surface (we run on grass, rock, asphalt, etc.).
Anxious to hear Jacks input. Approx 75 miles on my pair and took it easy on the transition because I do have a definite heel strike…. Neutral runner using these for distance. Curious to see how the midsole aka outsole holds up.
I ran with Jack yesterday and he said they still felt alright w/ around 120 or so miles on em. He did say he felt a little sore so we’ll see if it was from training of from the shoes getting thin. If they last 200 miles, that’s really good for a fast feeling, minimal shoe I think.
